Chowan County Building Inspection and Planning Division oversees all plans, inspections and development outside of Town of Edenton city limits.
Town of Edenton Planning and Assistant Town Manager participates in the Town’s overall planning and community development. He is responsible for the oversight of the Unified Development Ordinance as it relates to building of new construction and modifications of existing construction by residents and businesses within the Town of Edenton.
